“Africa Report” produces and broadcasts television documentaries about successful entrepreneurship, investment opportunities and the impact of business development support. These weekly television programmes are a source of inspiration and information for the African viewers. In addition these television broadcasts guide the interested viewers to the website www.africareport.com where additional information, links, references and tools are included. This website is continuously updated and expanded to make it the leading web-based portal on enterprise development in Africa. Combined the Africa Report television programmes and website fill an important void in the overall information dissemination and communication on business development in Africa.

The main contributions of Africa Report are:

  • Awareness raising and inspiring (starting) business people in Africa by providing examples of successful business initiatives and new opportunities (mainly through television broadcasts, digital newsletter and web-based films)
  • Information dissemination on available support services (technical assistance, financial support, etc.) and business opportunities (mainly through the newsletter and website)
  • Facilitation of dialogue and feedback on new developments, support requirements, business opportunities (mainly through the website and seminars).
